About

Find your way forward.

I've always been fascinated by what shapes the way we think. Why do some experiences stay with us for a lifetime? Why do the stories we first learn about ourselves often continue to influence how we see the world—even when they're no longer true? That curiosity first led me to aviation, where I earned a Master of Science in Aeronautical Science with a specialization in Human Factors, the study of human performance, decision-making, communication, and how people respond under stress. One concept that especially resonated with me was the Law of Primacy—the idea that what we learn first tends to create the strongest and most enduring foundation for future beliefs and behaviors. As I continued learning, I realized those same principles extend far beyond the cockpit. Many of the beliefs we carry about ourselves—"I'm not enough," "I have to be perfect," "I can't trust others"—often begin early in life and quietly shape the way we experience relationships, emotions, and challenges as adults. Life then led me into another meaningful chapter, raising four children while building and operating a successful in-home elder care business for more than a decade. Those experiences strengthened my appreciation for empathy, resilience, and supporting people through life's most important transitions. Ultimately, these experiences came together and led me to my true calling. I earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and started a private practice where I provide compassionate, evidence-based telehealth therapy for adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and life transitions. I believe healing begins with understanding the stories that shaped us—and recognizing that while our earliest experiences may influence us, they do not have to define where we go next. Therapy offers an opportunity to examine those patterns with curiosity, cultivate self-compassion, and make intentional choices that move us toward a more meaningful life.
